ABOUT SEA LION

I always wanted to own a house... after 25 years in Manhattan it had somehow turned into a distant longing. It's a wonderful day when a long held dream becomes reality. That happened for me Daffodil Weekend 2016 - the day I moved into my house on Nantucket.  She needed work, lots of work, so, I rolled up my sleeves and got to it. Sea Lion is an ongoing labor of love - updating and growing every year. The stats? 4 bedroom, 2.5 baths, 4 decks, outdoor shower, water views, 3.1 acres of green, open plan living/dining - with a loft! New kitchen & master bath. We're available for rent 365 days a year - I'm happy to share. We welcome small weddings, and events. So go on... press the button below. You're invited. Come on over & make some Sea Lion memories.

You'll be happy you did

3 acres of

greenery

01

Sea Lion is situated on a 3-acre corner lot in the heart of Tom Nevers East. You'll be surrounded by greenery. Enjoy views of the water from the living & dining room, the picturesque rooftops of Tom Nevers to the south, and the town of 'Sconset due east - on a clear day you can even see the Sankaty Head Lighthouse from the loft.

outdoor spaces

02

with 4 decks, and three acres to spread out you'll never feel fenced in at Sea Lion. you can enjoy your morning coffee from the upper deck and watch the waves roll in. in the afternoon have a leisurely lounge off the master bedroom when the light is particularly soft and pretty, the front deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, and then have an outdoor dinner on the lower deck after an outdoor shower.

local beaches

03

you can try a different beach every day on Nantucket - however, there's something to be said about staying close to home. here are the three closest beaches

  • 'Sconset is a 2-mile bike ride or walk

  • Wanona Way is the water you see from the house - it's only 1/2 mile walk down Chuckhollow road

  • Tom Nevers has gorgeous beaches a quick ride away just past Tom Nevers Field.
